My new blog goal is to simply find the coolest blogs ELSEWHERE on the Internet and point you towards them. I’ve given up on creating anything original – as it requires two things I have little of: Time and Brains. ;-)
If you haven’t checked out Rui Carmo’s site, Tao of Mac, yet you should. And don’t let the name fool you – Rui covers a wide variety of topics from Macs to Linux to Web Design to Mobile Devices to…well, you get the idea. Even the “About” page is interesting (in a world where most, including mine, aren’t) – complete with a graphical representation of a CV. A recent post was especially useful to me, so I wanted to post it for everyone’s benefit - and direct you all to add the feed yourself. If you are doing any web design, the “A List Apart” and “Quirks Mode” resources alone are useful to have. You’ll need to figure out how to work around the lack of CSS/HTML compliance (“Quirks”) in IE if you’re trying to get IE to render code the same way as the rest of the civilized world.
So, there you go. Some cool stuff for the web design geeks out there. Now, back to watching the snow fall…
