I haven't been the only one recently hit with a bunch of comment spam:
Miguel Jimenez got tired of it, so he took some work that's been done around using HIP-CAPTCHA images and built a custom control for .Text that doesn't require any coding or recompiling. Nice work.
Stefano Demiliani pointed to Chrissy's solution using SQL triggers.
Chrissy updated her SQL triggers to catch the comment spam that is just a big long list of URLs pointed to spammer sites.
And my favorite addition to the discussion comes from Robert McLaws. "You are now being watched. I'm tracking your entries. I'm tracking your IP addresses. I'm tracking your aliases.
