I just found this via [Lockergnome], a free PDF streamer that installs as a printer and will take the output of any program via it's PRINT command and turn it into a PDF file. Very cool...and it doesn't even appear to install annoying spyware or adware. Your mileage may vary.

Of course the full version of the product ($49.00) supports neat things like encryption. But for my basic needs, the free version appears to work just fine! And it even includes a scan to PDF utility which worked seamlessly with my Canon 1220U.
