Microsoft released a technical preview for Windows Media Player 10 today. Some of the highlights:
- New Design - Sure, I suppose it's “new“. Not much has changed, really, though, from what I can tell after a quick look through. Links to player functionality (rip, burn, etc) are across the top now...
- Choice of Online Stores - integration with Napster and other online music sources is all over the place. Almost to a level of annoyance to in my opinion, though. Everywhere I click I see the Napster cat...
- Enchanced Device Support - the auto sync capabilities look pretty cool.
- Improved All-In-One Smart Jukebox - support for 16:9 and HD resolution video among other things.
Remember, kids, this is a beta...'nough said.
