ExtremeTech has a great review on Hitachi's new 400GB hard drive here.  All in all, it has almost identical performance to existing 250GB drives today with an 8MB cache and a rotational speed of 7200RPM.  So, at ~$400 for the thing - you're just paying for more space.  My thought:  You could get 500GB by buying two 250GB drives today.  I've seen them at some retail stores for $139 with rebates.  But there would be a certain “cool” factor to it, I agree.

Mike’s Daily Grind is a great read as always.  This week’s Wednesday addition announced a RSS Feed for MS Security Bulletins.  Imagine that - maybe someone was listening when I posted this and this.  I doubt my post had anything to do with it – but regardless, it’s a step in the right direction.

James has written a great post on the new Partner Program from Microsoft.  I deal with this every day as a Partner TS and even I learned a few things!  J

Excerpt:  “I have been interesting in the Microsoft Partner Program for a little while.  Even if you are on your own, becoming a Registered Member has it's advantages.”
